Fadi Al Said - CEO
Fadi is a Senior Director at the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF), where he is a member of PIF’s Investment Department. From 2014 to 2020, Fadi served as Managing Director, lead portfolio manager at Lazard Asset Management, and from 2008 to 2014, he also worked as Senior Investment Manager and Head of MENA at ING Investment Management. He also served as Director and Lead Fund Manager at ENBD Asset Management, and as a Senior Investment Manager at Damac Invest. Fadi began his career at the Arab Bank. Fadi holds a master’s degree in business administration from Cass Business School in the UK, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Jordan. He is a CFA charterholder.
Fadi Al Said - CEO

As the CEO of SJIF, Omar leads the company’s management team in formulating and implementing its investment strategy. Prior to assuming his current role, Omar was the CEO of AB Invest, the investment banking arm of Arab Bank. He also served as the CEO of Capital Investments, the investment banking arm of Capital Bank, and was the co-founder of Singularity Advisors, a corporate advisory service. Along with his distinguished career in the finance sector, Omar boasts a wealth of experience in the public sector, serving as Assistant for Policy at the Office of His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, as well as a policy advisor to the Jordanian Minister of Finance and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation. Omar began his career in the United States, where he worked in the restructuring and bankruptcy consulting field with Chicago-based Navigant Consulting. Omar holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated magna cum laude with a major in economics, with distinction, and minors in history and psychology.

Nidal Abu-Maizer - CFO

Since joining SJIF in April 2018, Nidal has assumed responsibility for the company’s financial management and planning, while also serving as a member of SJIF’s investment team. Prior to his current role, Nidal was Corporate Finance Director at Bupa Arabia, where he managed the company’s $1.5 billion investment portfolio, oversaw its financial planning and in-house business advisory functions, and managed investor relations. He has also held senior positions at Edgo and Global Investment House, where he worked on and monitored strategic investments and advised on their portfolios. Nidal previously worked as a Financial Analyst at Atlas Investment Group (now AB Invest, susidiary of Arab Bank), and an economic consultant with Global Insight, Inc. (now IHS Global Insight) in Boston, USA. He has taken on directorship roles throughout his career at a number of private and publicly listed companies and non-profit organizations. Nidal holds an EMBA from INSEAD, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in finance from Bentley University. Nidal is also a CFA charter holder.

Ahmad Alawamleh - General Counsel & Board Secretary
Ahmad acts as SJIF’s General Counsel and Board Secretary Ahmad acts as SJIF’s General Counsel and Board Secretary since April 2018. Ahmad has extensive experience in the legal services sector for more than ten years, during which he served as a practicing lawyer providing legal consulting services to local and international banks and financial institutions. Prior to joining SJIF, Ahmad was a senior member of the legal department at the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (PJSC), Abu Dhabi, UAE. He also served as a banking and finance associate at Al Tamimi & Company, Dubai, UAE. Ahmad holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Jordan and a master’s degree in banking and finance law (with merit) from the University of London. Ahmad is a member of the Jordanian Bar Association since 2009.since April 2018. Abdullah Aljundi - Senior Investment Professional
As SJIF’s Senior Investment Professional, Abdullah brings with him advisory experience across various sectors and industries, including financial services, life sciences, oil and gas, education, and manufacturing. Previously, Abdullah worked in the assurance department of EY Jordan, leading a number of teams to complete audits of publicly listed companies, family businesses, and multinational organizations. In 2013, he joined EY MENA’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, managing the financial due diligence and advisory engagements on major transactions in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Iraq, the UK, South Africa, Libya, and Turkey. Abdullah holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Jordan, and he is a CFA level III candidate.
Zaid Dalabeeh - Senior Investment Professional
Zaid joined SJIF in November 2018 with eight years of experience in corporate finance advisory. Previously, he served as a Manager at EY’s Transaction Advisory Services Department (MENA), where he participated in and led more than 50 buy-side and sell-side financial advisory transactions across different industries including financial services, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, logistics, real estate, agriculture, education and power industries, and covering several emerging economies including Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, South Africa and Jordan. Prior to that, Zaid was with Al Maabar for Real Estate Investment (now Eagle Hills). Zaid holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Exeter (UK), and Corporate Finance Diploma (CF) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Ahmad Fariz - Senior Investment Professional
Ahmad Joined SJIF in July 2019 with over 10 years of experience in corporate strategy, M&A and risk management at Hikma Pharmaceuticals. During his tenure at Hikma, Ahmad directed several M&A opportunities and worked with cross functional teams to successfully close two strategic acquisitions. He also designed and established the company’s Enterprise Risk Management function and implemented a wide strategic mapping framework. Prior to Joining SJIF, Ahmad served as the Strategy and Business Development Manager for Hikma’s emerging markets division covering the Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe and the Sub-Saharan Africa regions. Ahmad holds a bachelor’s degree from Bentley University with a major in finance and minors in management as well as an MBA from IE Business School in Spain
